Did you know at Carthay Circle Bar they can veganize the sushi rolls? These were the lobster rolls, minus the lobster, of course. Usually they ask me if I want it wrapped in rice paper or seaweed. Just let them know you're vegan and they'll omit all the seafood in the sushi and the sauce.
I assume they charged you a reduced price for the rolls? Some places do and don't. Most places where I omit the patty out of the burger do. However, I asked for veggie japchae at a Korean place before and they charge the full $15 as the beef one. I imagine the lobster roll was on the pricey side.
ReplyDeleteIn Disneyland or canifornia adventure park, they won't modify the price just because you omit something, even if it's meat. They also won't add "extra" of anything, even if you offer to pay extra. It's strange, but I'm used to it by now. I don't remember the exact price, but I'm guessing somewhere between $12-$15. But this is also a higher end restaurant in the park. The bar is quite fancy and they serve gourmet food upstairs. So I thought the price was reasonable for the type of restaurant it is. :)
